JMC prides itself on keeping up-to-date on all Minnesota state reporting requirements. All Minnesota state reporting options are contained in the JMC Minnesota module and include options for MARSS, MCCC, Early Education Student, Perkins, STAR, and Graduation Standards reporting. Before you upload your files to the Minnesota Department of Education, most file generation options in the JMC Minnesota module will generate an error report for you. This means you can correct nearly all issues with your data before uploading your files to MDE.

JMC Regional Conference in Minneapolis/St. Paul Area on August 6, 2019
JMC held our annual regional conference in Chaska on 8/6/2019 at the Minnesota Landscaping Arboretum.
JMC Minnesota Ed-Fi (Counting All Students) Updates
Minnesota Ed-Fi Interoperability Projects
JMC will be working with approximately 20 Minnesota schools for the 2019-20 Ed-Fi MARSS conversion project.
JMC worked with Schoolcraft Learning Community for the 2018-19 MN Ed-Fi pilot.
Certification for JMC for MN Ed-Fi is projected for August or September of 2019.

WISEdata Load Test Completed August 15, 2017
A load test was completed on 8/15/17 whereby a school's WISEdata Rosetr and Disciplien data were submitted in a simulated load test. The test went well using the 8.4.17 build. A few tweaks will be included in a later August build, but in the mean time you may begin submitting WISedata Roster and Discipline using the 8.4.17 build. Prior to submitting discilpine data, however, you may need to recode some of your discipline records with newer Ed-Fi codes. Click here for details.

JMC ADVISER Certification for 2019-2020.
ADVISER Certification for 2019-2020 is projected to happen in early August 2019. Upon completion of the certification process a new certified build will be installed for our clients.

JMC prides itself on keeping up-to-date on all Iowa state reporting requirements. The Iowa Module is re-certified each summer. Before you upload your files to the Iowa Department of Education the Iowa module runs an error report for you. This means you can correct nearly all issues with your data before uploading your files to IDOE.

Iowa SRI update 7/30/2019
The Iowa SRI Certified build of JMC's Next Gen software was recently released. Schools using build 7.30.19 or later can now begin working with enrollment history and Drop/Add/Reenter processes in the Attendance module of the Next Gen web application for the 2019-2020 school year. The certification is completed for "flat file" submission. Certification for the SIF agent will conclude shortly.

Many states allow you to submit data from an Excel spread sheet. Using JMC’s Lists querying capabilities you may be able to export data from your JMC database in order to populate the Excel spreadsheet and get the process started.
